CREATIVE DIRECTOR/BRAND MANAGER

As the Brand Department Manager at the University of Michigan Credit Union, I operate as a Creative Director, Marketing Strategist, and Marketing Team Manager for a rapidly growing financial institution. I direct the company marketing materials, review the quality of work, and facilitate the development of a diverse team made up of graphic designers, social media experts, a videographer/video editor, a writer, a digital marketing strategist, an event coordina­tor, and all department interns. Throughout my time as Brand Manager, I have redesigned the creative process by implementing creative briefs and, via advanced data analytics and partnerships, have found new ways to capture narrow target audiences; streamline, integrate a project management system; and overhaul the brand guidelines to reflect the new direction of the growing brand. I have also shifted the credit union's marketing strategy to involve a strong digital presence, moving away from general branding, and have seen dramatic growth. As a result, in this past year, we have soared past 100,000 members and 1 billion in assets.
